Weekend: November Second Week
Well, I didn't know what to write about this week! đ¤ˇđťââď¸
Since last week was Bessy, apdie put one U-Turn and we reach Mylapore today! đ
A place in which the old is treasured and the new is welcome.
They say Madras is alive only in Mylapore!
Look to your left;
Right le chudu!
The Mylaporians like to call these the abistu places of Mylapore! đđ
Temples to your left and pubs to your right!
Ah, Mylapore truly does transcend through the ages!
Introducing Showkali!
Showkali is your typical konjum konjum tha Tamil theriyum girl. She'll be your voice when I go overboard and put me in my place! đđ
On the contrary, she's more of your sentamil ponnu and is going to be a real pain to deal with! đ¤Śđťââď¸
Anyway, back to Mylapore. Where were we... ah yes, the most priced position of Mylapore is its rich cultural heritage.
We have this famous tradition here in Chennai where we're just really bored, have nothing better to do but to stack dolls on stairs. Golu we call it! đđđ
Showkali: Kaushikkk, guys, I know Kaushik's address, let's go beat him up! I'll even pay for the petrol, what do y'all say!?
During any of these festive times, (even a full moon or a no moon day is a festive time here! đ) the bazaars of Mylapore are bustling with people! It's a delight to watch the colourful array of shops. A real treat to the eye!
Showkali: He doesn't understand how beautiful the traditions we follow are. How manly the Mamas look in their Dhotis and how gorgeous the Maamis are in their Madisars!
How we relish even the smallest of things, how the women wash the turmeric off their faces, put on a bindi emitting sunshine brighter than the sun! I sure do love our Tamil Culture! â¤ď¸
Ey Showkali shoo, buzz off!
On to the main event! No, not the networking events but the "Mega Event"!
There's something called the Kovil Thiruvizha. This is truly a testament to Mylapore and the Tamil culture as a whole. It's simply a marvelous spectacle. An experience that will leave you spellbound! One that you have to experience first hand. No words can explain the feeling you get being among so many people with all the small shops where you get toys that last a day and ice-cream that's half water.

What else? Need to add at least one more section before we head to the Networking events. đ
Ah got it! The Food!!
Mylapore has some amazing veg food and some next-level authentic filter coffee! Arguable some of the best in Indian Cuisine all over the world!
đđźis Sidhanth Surana. He's probably the biggest Mylapore fanboy you'll ever find!
Any doubts on where you can get things done in Mylapore, Sur is your man for the job! đ

This is just a small glimpse of the land which has a temple in every turn housing the world-renowned Kapaleeshwar Temple!
